This heartwarming story will give readers a glimpse through a child’s eyes into a home touched by dementia. Having experienced this myself as a teenager, it brought back memories of those bittersweet but nonetheless special days. I hope that many will be helped and encouraged by this book. Excellent resource for adults and children alike! Well-written from a Christian perspective and including beautiful illustrations.
The last photo is a collage of my grandmother with me, my mother, and my older children. She thought my boys were her own children because of the effects of the disease. I, too, like Y.Y. Chan, always smile whenever I think of my joyful Mamaw. She even forgot how to talk but could sing every verse of “What A Friend I Have In Jesus”!
